I am more clear on why I’m in the job and industry I’m in and am more oriented as I consider what I may want to do next. I am already experiencing a new attitude toward my day-to-day job functions. And I’m also motivated to explore what new directions open up to me.
My sense of purpose is revealing itself to be to continue to grow spiritually and emotionally and integrate lessons and the exercises (clearing limiting decisions, grounding, compassion, forgiveness) you taught me into daily living. The lessons and growth come through mediation, reflection, self-awareness, exercise, conversations, books, and podcasts. And as I continue to grow in these areas I am closer to knowing myself and what I want in a career and in a romantic partnership.
My first order of business is to start a project [podcast] outside of work that is fun and fulfilling and will likely lead to new ideas and options for a twilight career. Producing a podcast to share my experiences in developing, nurturing and growing friendships may be a joyful and satisfying way to express myself and even inspire others to put effort into building friendships.
Practicing compassion for myself and others. Accepting them as doing their best makes me happier and more emotionally stable because I’m less judgmental, defensive and resentful
Practice using the feelings of being overwhelmed and anxious as a drive to action (when contemplating getting organized to complete any project) makes sense.
Practice makes confidence! Progress brings confidence, joy and satisfaction!
